Bladez is a fictional character from the GoBots series introduced in 1985.

Gobots[edit | edit source]

Bladez is described by Cy-Kill as dangerous, disgusting and despicable.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Like most GoBots, Bladez has numerous abilities because of his robotic body. He does not age, can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. He can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from his hands. His body heals quickly when supplied with energy. He can turn into a robotic scorpion-like monster.

Animated series[edit | edit source]

Bladez was introduced to Earth by Cy-Kill in a commercial for new Monster GoBots alongside Bugsie and Klaws.[1]

Echoverse[edit | edit source]

Bladez was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots, Rock Lords and Starriors swapping places with characters during the events of that film. He was one of the monster GoBots on the planet Antares III, taking the place of the Quintessons and Sharkticons of Quintessa in the story.[2]

Rhetoricverse[edit | edit source]

Bladez appeared in the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode 1 story "Rebels Without a Circuit" by Fun Publications.In this story he was a member of the Guardian Council.[3]

Bladez appeared in the episode 2 story "Fugitives" where the Robo Rebels discovered he was secretly loyal to the Master Renegade.[4]

Bladez appeared in the episode 3 story "Double Cross" where the protocols he installed in the Guardian Command Centers allowed the Master Renegade to take remote control of them.[5]

Bladez appeared in the episode 4 story "Countdown to Annihilation".[6]
