Vilion
Vilion (also called Drill Heli) is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series introduced in 1986. He is a heroic member of the Jet Clan who turns into a drill tank and helicopter.
Machine Robo edit
Drill Heli is a heroic Double Machine Robo from the Jet Clan. He hails from Iron City and was a childhood friend of Triple Jim.
Because of his mechanoid nature he does not need to breath oxygen and is resistant to cold, but is vulnerable to intense magnetic fields.
Animated series edit
Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos edit
Vilion first appeared in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 10, "Defeat Bug, the User of Darkness!". He was a childhood friend of Triple Jim and a resident who defended Iron City from Bug Newman's gang.[1]
Vilion returned, in episode 17, "Death in the Demonic Castle in the Sky Part 1", where he was one of several Battle Clan called in by Rod Drill to help recover Reina Stol when she was kidnapped and taken to the Sky Castle by Grujious.[2]
The Battle Clan allies of Rod Drill continued to help in episode 18, "The Demonic Castle - Farewell Grujious", and once Reina was rescued and Grujious had been defeated they bid farewell and returned home.
Vilion is seen among the hypnotized population of the Cleo city in episode 21, "Angel of the Mind, Vikung-Fu - Protect".[3]
In episode 29, "Escape From the Underground - Pro Truck Racer Appears!", Vilion was attacked by a aerial limpet mine in a Gandora attack on Yamalin City.[4]
Machine Robo: Battle Hackers edit
Vilion appeared working with Cessna Robo during an attack in Machine Robo: Battle Hackers episode 1, "Burning Electronic Planet".[5]
